Scarce first edition of this popular work, containing extensive conversion tables including those for interest, for commissions and exchange, primarily for converting to British money.
The work was intended to be a support for merchants, traders and bankers for whom it was necessary to quickly be able to look up interest- and exchange-rates. Similar works had been published previously, but this was the most extensive work published at the time. It was reprinted several times.
