Later reprint of this landmark work of logical and mathematical thought, in which Bolzano anticipates, by decades, Cantor's work on Infinite Numbers, lays the foundation for set theory, and becomes a precursor Cauchy, Cantor, and Weierstrass in the arithmetization of mathematical analysis. Needless to say, the work, which calls for a total arithmetization of mathematical analysis, was highly praised and admired by by the most important logicians in the field, Peirce, Dedekind, and Cantor.
