Second expanded edition in which Kant outlines his ideas for achieving perpetual peace among nations. Kant argues that true peace can only be achieved through the establishment of a federation of free states, a republican form of government, and loyalty to principles of international law and diplomacy.
He also discusses the concept of cosmopolitan right, which proposes that all humans have certain rights as citizens of the world.

Kant's ideas in "Perpetual Peace" have had a significant influence on political philosophy and international relations theory and is by many seen as the first true modern democratic peace theory.
